About Us

Coping with the loss of a child.

In the depths of personal tragedy, I, Mrs. C., a Gold Star Mother of Petty Officer 2nd Class Anthony Michael, find solace in sharing my journey of loss. Anthony, my son, served in the US Navy immediately after graduating high school, only to meet a tragic end in an auto accident in April 2018 at the tender age of 24. The void left by his absence is profound, and my heart aches for my beloved son.

Anthony's comforting words, "It'll be aight" or "Mom, it'll be aight," linger in my memories. In the aftermath of his loss, I often pondered the validity of those assurances. Nevertheless, the resonance of his words persists as a steadfast presence in my daily existence.

Navigating the tumultuous aftermath of my son's passing, I found myself longing for a confidante to share my thoughts, emotions, and experiences. However, the prospect of participating in a group setting or a public grief support group proved daunting, as the intimate details of my sorrow felt too personal to share openly.

Grief Support Services

Also in the challenging aftermath of losing my son, I encountered a profound lack of therapists, counselors, or coaches who had undergone a similar experience. This realization prompted me to establish the support services offered here. My mission was clear – I wanted no mother to endure the isolation that gripped me. Our babies are forever ours, regardless of the circumstances of their departure – be it accident, overdose, violence, or illness. No mother should feel ashamed, embarrassed, or alone.

As a Certified Grief Support Specialist and Life Coach, I extend my hand to those traversing this unfortunate journey. The road to healing may seem obscured by pain and anguish, but I am committed to offering unwavering support. While the why may remain elusive, confronting and embracing your grief is a crucial step in moving forward. Although I cannot mend the profound loss, I offer a listening ear, a compassionate heart, and empathetic support. My aspiration is to help transform your pain into purpose, walking beside you as you navigate the intricate path of grief.
